IAUS 405 Proceedings

We published the instructions for writing up IAUS 405 proceeding contributions. The deadline for their submission via IAU ScholarOne system is July 31st, 2026.

Andrea M. Ghez, Nobel prize in physics laureate, on Czech TV

The keynote speaker of the IAU Symposium 405, Andrea M. Ghez (UCLA), appeared on the popular Czech TV program Hyde Park Civilization. Previously two Galactic Center researchers, Reinhard Genzel and Andreas Eckart, also appeared on the same program. All of them talked not only about their research and work regarding the Galactic Center but also about various aspects of their personal lives and their hobbies.
