IAUS405 Official Communication Channels

All the relevant information is spread via our conference email info.gc2026@muni.cz, i.e. using the official Masaryk University (muni.cz) domain. Exceptionally personal emails of LOC/SOC members or IAU representatives are used but never for obtaining personal information.

For regular participants the only payment that we ask for is the registration fee (+optionally for a conference dinner and for an accompanying person) via the Masaryk University portal with the payment links at https://gc2026.muni.cz/registration where you choose the method of payment. Again it is on the muni.cz domain.

Accommodation is not arranged by us - you need to make the booking yourself via standard providers or hotel sites. We will be happy to give you advice and guidance - we also selected convenient accommodation sites in Brno on our website: https://gc2026.muni.cz/venue/accommodation.

Since there have been reported cases of emails asking for personal information that were not sent by the LOC nor initiated by the LOC, we ask the participants for caution and basic verification of the email origin. Please feel comfortable to ask us about any suspicious emails so that we can clarify the origin and prevent any damage.
