7 Jun IAUS 405 Proceedings We published the instructions for writing up IAUS 405 proceeding contributions. The deadline for their submission via IAU ScholarOne system is July 31st, 2026.
7 Jun GC2026 Photogallery We published a selection of representative photos for each day of the symposium, including social and public events, e.g. the public lecture by Andrea M. Ghez.
3 Jun Andrea M. Ghez, Nobel prize in physics laureate, on Czech TV The keynote speaker of the IAU Symposium 405, Andrea M. Ghez (UCLA), appeared on the popular Czech TV program Hyde Park Civilization. Previously two Galactic Center researchers, Reinhard Genzel and Andreas Eckart, also appeared on the same program. All of them talked not only about their research and work regarding the Galactic Center but also about various aspects of their personal lives and their hobbies.
